NCQA Physician Recognition
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has several national programs that recognize excellence in care provided by individual physicians and clinics.
The Alliance, in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Health, strongly encourages all physicians and clinics to apply for NCQA recognition.
Why is this important? What problem do these programs address? What's in it for physicians, health plans, consumers, and others? Who should apply? What does the process involve? How can I help? Who do I contact for more information? For answers to these and other questions see:
*Note: If you want to share this information with others in a clinic or medical practice, feel free to customize and use these slides.
